A Few Words About Us
Khadijah "Kay" Polly is the owner of Kay's Kettle Corn. A gourmet popcorn company based out of Houston, TX. A native of Los Angeles, CA she graduated from LACES (Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies) in June of 1999. After graduation she attended Grambling State University in Grambling, LA where she graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Khadijah's professional summary includes experience in finance, retail operations management, human resources, and corporate recruiting for supply chain management.
She has always been creative and has had an entrepreneurial spirit since she was a child. She's sold handmade bracelets with her sister on Venice beach at 10 years old with a "company" they called Beach Beads Plus, she's taught candle making classes at local craft stores, and she has owned a wedding resale shop. In 2014 Khadijah literally took a leap of faith on her 33rd birthday and went sky diving. It was on that day she decided to live fearlessly and make her dreams POP by putting a plan in motion to leave her full time job as a supply chain management (SCM) corporate recruiter and focus all of her efforts on Kay's Kettle Corn ™.
